Apple va dubla numarul de angajati din publicitate si marketing


Surse apropiate Apple spun ca gigantul din California se pregateste sa isi mareasca echipele de design si marketing de la 300 la 500-600 persoane.

In ultimii ani Apple a fost reticenta la cresterea echipei de marketing si publicitate din cauza filozofiei create de Steve Jobs care sustinea ca directia Apple  “was fairly strict about the headcount in that group” , “the group didn’t grow proportionally to the company as it went through astronomical growth, and that was partly because Steve wanted Apple to be seen as a products company, not a marketing company.”

Jobs nu voia o echipa interna de marketing prea dezvoltata, pentru ca Apple sa fie o companie bazata pe produs, nu centrata pe marketing. Desi acest departament s-a tot dezvoltat, se pare ca Apple nu va rupe legaturile cu firmele de publicitate cu care a lucrat pana acum.
“Apple works with a few outside agencies, including TBWA/Media Arts Lab, Mono in Minneapolis and San Francisco’s Eleven. That’s not expected to change. But the in-house group has been tackling more projects, doing everything from site design to tutorial videos for Apple products to maintaining a large internal commercial-production facility”.
